FRANKIE’S FAVOURITE EATERIES

Today we are doing Los Angeles because I felt like it. And next week I will give my favourite dining experience in Miami as I’m here this week. 

Los Angeles has a ton of excellent restaurants, I could name 20 of the top of my head that should be here but I have to say one of my favourite dining moments of last year was at the Sunset Towers bar in the hotel. 

This is a cool and stylish restaurant that has a bit of the old school LA vibe. The piano band was playing near the bar when I got there, I was a bit early, so I grabbed a Negroni as usual ;)

I met with my Friend Rene who was meeting a friend, well, not just a friend, his bestie was Marlon Wayans (yes the actor). We had an intimate dinner where Marlon described honing in on his craft lately and the 20 years of walking into auditions and seeing Will Smith there and basically walking back out knowing Will would get the part.

Butttt , let’s get to the food. This place has the classic old school food done in a very high end way. It’s amazing!

I had the pigs in a blanket, the chicken pot pie, as well as the Caesar and rigatoni carbonara. ALL amazing ! The view is insane and I know I sat with a Real Hollywood star, but you never know , you may have a similar experience. It is LA after all ;)
