FRANKIE’S FAVOURITE EATERIES

Motek

So, this has always been one of my faves in Miami and surprisingly it has just opened not to far from me. It’s a great place called Motek.

It’s a mix of Lebanese, Moroccan, Israeli and a touch of that fun Greek vibe and music all wrapped in one.

I had an awesome flatbread with some cheese, zaatar and a nice tomato dipping sauce. This comes straight out of the oven with scissors to cut your food. Amazing!

I also enjoyed a nice Schwarma-style plate with chicken, hummus and salad.

I ate alone at lunch with fun music to accompany me.

If you’re looking for delicious food with a haute casual fun vibe then this is a must-try.

I’m surprised nobody has taken the rights for Toronto yet ;)…

TECH SPOTLIGHT

The Hatch Restore 2 Smart Alarm Clock

We all know and love the Hatch Alarm Clocks, but did you know they went through a pretty cool upgrade?

The Hatch Restore 2 alarm clock sounds like a fantastic addition to any nightstand! Its ability to simulate sunrise and sunset, along with delivering relaxing ambient sounds, seems like a dream come true for anyone who struggles with waking up or falling asleep. The feature to mask ambient sounds with white noise is especially appealing for those in noisy environments. The integrated touch controls make navigating through its various features convenient, and having a companion app to manage everything adds another layer of ease and customization. Overall, it seems like a worthwhile investment for better sleep quality and a more pleasant waking experience.

I still use my simple Casio watch while turning off my iPhone completely but…That’s up to you.

CAMH’S SUNRISE CHALLENGE

The founder of our newsletter, SFD, has a great desire to make an impact on a place very special to him in Toronto. Camh is Canada’s largest mental health facility and it played an important role in the recovery of SFD during a mental health crisis.

The sunrise challenge aims to fuel research breakthroughs, accelerate the pace of discovery, and show people with mental illness that they are not alone.

If this is a cause you would like to support it would mean the world to SFD if you could find it in your heart to donate :)
