Do you go downtown much?

We once had a an office in the core and I would be at those restaurants ALL the time… We still have an office there but it’s near the new Well.

Earls, Motus, Brass taps, ByMark and of course HY’s were all part of the circuit when I was down there more.

Over the last couple weeks I’ve been to Hys three or 4 times and the room is just great. The high ceiling, beautiful décor and that feeling of steaks and deals getting done is there again.

The Cheese bread is still warm and great and I always have one of the steak options and a classic salad.

I have to say, on a Friday, with a glass of Rose’, it really is a great cozy little (big room) spot to enjoy the downtown core.

Winter times I love to be on Patios but whose kidding who, we live in Canada and Hys is doing that sexy steak house thing so well again!

Here is a great listing in Rosedale. I love this street and I’ve had many friends live on it over the years. It’s super cute, quiet, and a really nice place to raise a family. Rosedale is one of the fancier neighbourhoods in Toronto. I’ve always liked it for its elegance and abundance of trees.

It’s not cheap and it’s certainly not for everyone, but if you’re moving here from another big city and you need a GREAT family house, this is a winner. 🥇
