FRANKIE’S FAVOURITE EATERIES

Nirvana - The Flavours of India

Do you like Indian food ?

I’ve been eating Indian in Toronto for over 20 years , from quality sweets, brar, Lahore tikka house (my wife’s friend Ameen’s reco from 25 years ago) and so many in between.

But, in my mind, the best, most flavorful, and fresh Indian Food in the GTA is at Nirvana. As a matter of fact I’m having it right now, as we’ve picked it up for the office.

It’s in a strip mall near Hurontario and 401. It’s got a great feel, a huge room, and the food is delicious and fresh.

The baingan bharta is my favourite dish by far (I hope I spelt it right). They smoke the eggplant in the tandoori and it comes out perfect. They have a Dahl that is wonderful, their butter chicken is great, and their sizzler fish is Wow!

I could go on forever but I don’t really have time because I want to get back into my meal ;)

Try it ! It’s awesome …

TECH SPOTLIGHT

Facial Recognition in Real Estate

Facial recognition technology is becoming more common in many fields, but did you know it's being used in commercial real estate for better security? It works by using cameras to scan people's faces, allowing buildings to identify tenants, keep unauthorized people out, and track who comes and goes. This means no more traditional keys or access cards – just your face to unlock doors.

It's really convenient and efficient because it can quickly identify a lot of people at once without needing physical keys. But, using facial recognition raises privacy concerns because it collects sensitive personal information. So, it's crucial to have clear rules to protect people's privacy and make sure the technology is used responsibly.

Overall, facial recognition can make buildings safer and operations smoother, but we need to be careful to use it in a way that respects people's privacy and rights.
