SFD SATURDAY MORNING WEEKLY 69
Italian food anyone? This week I had to meet a friend in Woodbridge, for those of you that don't know, this is a super suburb around Toronto where many of the Italians moved out to after fleeing the city in the 80s and 90s for more land and grander homes. Every Italian needs a garage for a Ferrari and a backyard for their tomatoes and eggplants 🍆.

Back to lunch, I arrived at Giro D'italia Restaurante ;) - YUM!
The first thing I see is an old school pizza oven, wines on the back wall, and a gorgeous black menu. I'm writing all of this by the bar and I haven't had my calamari, pasta, and antipasto plate yet but let me tell you right now. I don't even need to taste the food, there is no doubt in my mind that it's amazing....
Ok ok IT was :).
Check this place out on Jane street. OMG
This is what I had, each month they do specials from different areas of Italy and this month was from "Le Marche" region.
I had had the pulpe' (octopus) great 😊. I had the green salad (simple and delicious) and the trout with veggies (delicious).
The waiters are fun with Italian accents and the vibe is great. A really great spot for a nice lunch or a great dinner.
Ciao for now, I'm looking forward to exploring another region sometime soon.

📺 Ads with Feelings? YouTube’s New “Peak Points” Might Know You Too Well
Just finished watching a YouTube proposal video? Wipe your tears… and cue the ad.
YouTube is rolling out a new ad format called “Peak Points” — designed to hit you right after the most emotionally gripping moments in a video. Whether it's a dramatic reveal, a heartwarming reunion, or a cat finally catching the laser dot, Google's Gemini AI is now watching too… and it's ready to serve up an ad the second your heart rate spikes.
The idea? If you're deeply invested, you’re more likely to remember the ad. It’s a technique known as emotion-based targeting — because apparently, nothing says “I love you” like a commercial for car insurance.
Of course, some viewers may not be thrilled about having their emotional rollercoaster interrupted by a 15-second spot for shampoo. But hey, if your feelings are already at a 10, maybe it's the perfect time to learn about new laundry pods?
Oh, and YouTube also launched a shoppable product feed — so now, you can buy things during an ad. Multitasking, upgraded.
So, what do you think — clever marketing or emotional sabotage? Would you rather ads come before the tears or after?

“In the shower. At a club. With your friends. With a new friend. With your family. With your kids. At a rave. By yourself.
Learn to salsa, to cha cha, to waltz or to tango.
There is nothing that brings people together better than music @sultanoffunk .If you can get that speaker bumping or those AirPods jumping on a daily basis it can really uplift your day.
I love walking very early in the mornings but I never ever leave home without having those AirPods (full of 80s love ballads) ready to go so that I have a little music to keep my legs moving.
Don’t forget to dance a little this weekend, perhaps you push for a little dance party at the office this afternoon or you start one at home this evening, either way, make sure to add a little hip movement in your life :).
What is your favourite dancing tune?”
