What a week.
A friend of mine invited me to ring the bell at the opening of the New York stock exchange. That’s a whole other story, this is about food.
The night before the bell, we headed to Michael's. This is your quintessentially excellent continental restaurant in NYC. The type of place that bankers and business people would lunch in during the day and families would have their biweekly dinners at in the evenings.
I'm not even sure if I had my own main, oh ya, I did. I shared a steak with my buddy. It was great and so was the wine, but the truth is, I was already done after the appetizers. They were great!
The Korean steak lettuce wrap was dynamite, the Jamon and bruschetta was perfect!! And the appetizer pizza was as New York perfect as they could come.
If you want that old school NEW YORK vibe, head to Michael's in Mid Town, it's awesome.
