Last week an old friend popped by the office and said it was national "pasta day" and that we had to have some. Who am I to say “no” to pasta day? + If you knew Johny, you can't say no to him.

Johny took me by surprise when he suggested the Stacked Market. It's a cute little area in the city near Front and Bathurst where they have little shops made from old ship containers housing clothing, trinkets, and food stalls. 

We hit Sundays Pasta Lab and let me tell you, I haven't had pasta like this in years. This place is run by a food scientist, the kind of guy/chef that you only find in little nooks in Italy or Tokyo. I had two pastas, one was the freshest pesto I've ever tasted and the second had this carbone rigatoniesque vibe that was out of THIS world 🌎. The pasta is homemade, I'll stop right there and say that it was insane. You NEED to go check it out if you're in the mood for pasta.
