FRANKIE’S FAVOURITE EATERIES

This was my biggest surprise of last year... 

I fell for this restaurant BIG time. It's situated in the gorgeous Faena hotel on the 2nd floor. The faena is definitely the go to hotel for sophistication and sexy Miami vibes for the 38-55 crowd. Simply gorgeous restaurants abound in this hotel from the back patio Sunday brunch to the cool indoors space that turns into one of the best parties in the city (when you can get in, so hard🤦‍♀️). Back to Pao which is a mix of Filipino, Peruvian , French and a bunch of others things with all the cilantro, sushi and butter you can mix up into dishes that I have never seen anywhere else in the world. I don't know if I have reviewed this one in the past but it's a must try if you're in Miami, come to think of it. I need a Miami trip soon, at least before Basel ;)...   try it !

TECH SPOTLIGHT

If you thought AI was just a passing trend like NFTs, think again! The last couple of years have shown that artificial intelligence is here to stay, and this week might just be the highlight reel. Tech giants like Meta, Tesla, and Adobe made waves with exciting announcements that are changing the game!

At Adobe's MAX conference in Miami, they unveiled cool new tools for the Creative Cloud suite, including Automatic Image Distraction Removal in Photoshop and a new beta feature called the Generative Workspace. Plus, Adobe's "commercially safe" Firefly Video Model is set to revolutionize video editing!

Meanwhile, Meta showcased its new AI video model that creates coherent videos from text prompts, complete with matching audio. And Tesla wowed attendees at its 'We, Robot' event by unveiling 20 new prototypes, including autonomous vehicles without steering wheels! Not to mention their humanoid robots, Optimus, serving drinks like it’s no big deal.

REAL ESTATE SPOTLIGHT

Now that we are on the Miami train. I love this building. The Roney. It's attached to the One hotel. I had an offer there years and years ago on a unit and I bailed on it. Eeek. Let's just say that unit did a 4x since I looked at it. I still think it's a great building with great amenities and if you can't be in one of the crazy buildings south of fifth than this one gives you the hotel luxuries with condo that you own.
