FRANKIE’S FAVOURITE EATERIES

I've had a really hard time coming up with a new place or even an old place that I loved, it's been a very weird month.
First off, I'd like to thank everyone who stops me in the path, on the golf course and people on the street who say they enjoy my newsletter. What started off as an idea to give happy news has turned into something I really enjoy, and I really enjoy hearing that you enjoy it. Thank you.
Secondly, I've had people reach out and ask if they could put in a real estate listing, have me try their restaurant or put in their own little article…? The answer is YES- send us your article, request or comment about a topic and we can post it. You would be surprised of our readership, some really huge CEOs, artists and famous people get this and actually read it, I’m surprised myself.
You know when they say write things down? When you're like me and the mind works a lot, which I'm sure is the case for a lot of you, writing, is helpful. It forces you to slow things down, think about something for a little while and rewrite and makes changes, if you read it over, like sometimes I forget to do, similar to high school or my work emails 🤦♀️.
With that said, I'm one of those people who obsesses over things. If I hear a great new song I like, I can listen to it 100 times in a week. If I see an account I want to get, I won't let anything stop me until I get it, it's a bit of a character trait that can be good and bad of course when it comes to food ;). You crave some stuff big time.
Here are 5 dishes that I crave and always order when I hit these restaurants around the world.
#1 Himachi in the Ponzu, an appetizer at Nobu. Perfectly sliced fish with ponzu sauce, a leaf of cilantro and a thin slice of jalapeño. Perfection!
#2 Corned Beef Sandwich at Schwartz's in Montreal. Just go.
#3 Falafel sandwich at Las de falafel 🥙 in the Marais in Paris. The perfect sloppy awesome sandy in the Jewish quarter, you may even get a sneak peak of Leo Dicaprio there.
#4 Chicken tenders with the sauce from Raising Canes. It's a family favourite. Maybe I'll even sneak some back from Miami for the kids this weekend.
#5 The mini ravioli at Le Cesar in Antibes. I'll make a huge detour just to have those each trip - yum.
Have a great spring.
TECH SPOTLIGHT

Porsche is going electric… but make it sporty
If you thought EVs were all about practicality, Porsche would like a word. The brand is doubling down on electric performance with the upcoming Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric — a sleek, all-electric twist on one of its most popular SUVs.
Despite the name, this “coupe” still has four doors — but it brings a sportier, sloped roofline inspired by icons like the Porsche 911. And if history is any indication, that design choice matters: coupe versions of the Cayenne have gone from niche to nearly 40% of total sales, proving drivers love a little extra style with their SUV.
The new electric lineup doesn’t stop there. Porsche is rolling out multiple versions, including the Cayenne Electric, Cayenne S Electric, and Cayenne Turbo Electric — because if there’s one thing Porsche loves, it’s options.
Performance-wise, this isn’t your average EV. Even the base model delivers serious power, while the top-tier turbo version pushes over 1,100 horsepower and can go from 0 to 60 mph in about 2.4 seconds — firmly in supercar territory. (Yes, in an SUV.)
Range is expected to land around 360 miles per charge, depending on how aggressively you spec it out. And naturally, there’s plenty of room to customize — from carbon roofs to performance upgrades — if you’re willing to lean into that six-figure price tag.
Interestingly, Porsche isn’t ditching gas just yet. The electric Cayenne will be sold alongside gas and hybrid versions well into the next decade, turning the lineup into a real-time experiment: what do drivers actually want?
One thing’s clear — the future of EVs isn’t just efficient… it’s fast, flashy, and very, very Porsche. ⚡🚗
REAL ESTATE SPOTLIGHT

15 - 209707 Hwy 26 N ~ 1,020,000
This is definitely the best dip in the Southern Ontario Residential estate market we have seen in years. But not only is it amazing prices, dips in the -30% off the highs in some cases but I think it's even better values on the Vacation properties North of the city that are seeing double dips, with the pricing running up during the highs of the work from home and now taking a double punch from the rate hikes and the back to work movement. Here is a nice little townhouse in Collingwood on the water where you get both seasons of fun.
Take a peak, I suspect you get it below a Mil. Steal in my mind.

50 Buckingham Ave ~ 4,369,000
Presenting an exceptionally rare offering at 50 Buckingham Ave, available for the first time in over 50 years. This substantial 214 x 50 foot lot presents a wealth of possibilities for its new owners. Create one magnificent, custom-built home of exceptional proportions. Build a beautiful new custom home complemented by a secondary Coach House or Garden Suite, ideal for extended family, aging parents, adult children, or long-term guests. Imagine a compound featuring a 4-5 bay car garage with a large garden suite above, all within bucolic Lawrence Park. This is a very rare opportunity for severance to create two new custom homes. Accounting for adjusted setbacks, this would result in two side-by-side 90 x 50 foot lots, offering greater efficiencies and a more saleable product than an 8-10 million dollar new build.
Nestled on a quiet residential street, 50 Buckingham Ave delivers incredible convenience. The location is just 800 meters from Yonge & Lawrence subway access and the abundant shops and restaurants along Yonge Street. Elite educational institutions are also moments away, with Toronto French School just 600m away, and Crescent School, The Granite Club, and Havergal School mere minutes by car. An incredible lifestyle opportunity awaits.

“When I wasn't feeling so hot, I can remember that this was one of the only things I would look forward to all day.
Life really is about learning to enjoy simple pleasures. For me just thinking about what I will have for lunch can bring me so much joy.
Find a way to be happy in your skin, find a way to be happy with the tools you were given and find a way to stop second guessing yourself.
You are the architect of your day, your month and your year. All you need to do is find some great people to build your vision with but if they are not around just take one step forward on your own.
That way nobody can say they did it for you ;) and you will have the strength in knowing you can handle it.
Find a few things to work towards, a few things you want to get better at, a few things you want to learn about and focus on those things instead of focusing on why you're not happy.

Can you solve the puzzle?”
🧠A Weekly Dose of Psychology You Didn’t Know You Needed 🧠
Hi everyone! I’m Maya, I hold an Honours Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science and Psychology (basically, I can analyze both a crime scene and your overly complicated coffee order). I’m also an incoming Master of Arts candidate in Counselling Psychology, which means I spend a lot of time thinking about how the human brain works, and why it sometimes does the exact opposite of what we want it to do.
Psych Fact #44: Time feels faster as you get older because your brain is paying less attention.
Ever feel like the years are speeding up? One minute it’s January, the next it’s somehow the end of the year. It’s not just life getting busier. It’s your brain changing how it processes time.
When you’re younger, almost everything is new. Your brain is constantly taking in fresh information, which makes time feel fuller and slower. As you get older and routines settle in, fewer moments stand out as “new,” so your brain stores fewer detailed memories.
Looking back, your brain judges how long something felt based on how much it remembers. Less detail equals a shorter feeling of time.
The interesting part? You can actually slow that feeling down by introducing novelty. Trying new things, going to new places, even small changes in routine can give your brain more to hold onto, making time feel richer and less like it’s flying by.
So, if life feels like it’s on fast forward, it might just be your brain asking for something new.
Until next time,
Maya 🧠✨

CHRIS’ CORNER
It’s Past Time to Head to BMO Field
With each passing day, the call to the golf course is getting louder.
Not that I'm any good at it, but I do love spending time with friends on a beautiful course, hitting a few good shots, and even more bad ones. Sharing laughs and stories and time together.
Sometimes it's great just going out for nine holes with one buddy and just playing "grip it and rip it" whole working on different clubs, and not worrying about the score. Other times it's nice being in a group - especially with a mix of serious and not-so-serious golfers - and playing best ball for some prize or another.
A long time ago, in what seems like another life, I worked in the Grandview Inn clubhouse for the nine-hole executive course in Huntsville, Ontario. This was years before the pro-level championship 18-hole Mark O'Meara course was built across the road.

Back in those days, before I really knew I wanted to be a professional writer, I thought I might pursue a career in the golf or hotel industry. One of my favourite things to do was go out after hours with the sunlight dwindling and play as many holes as possible.
It was wonderful. No pressure, no scoring, just smooth swings and solid putts. Of course, when you golf everyday, you tend to get decent enough. And I was a bit better than a weekend duffer back then.
The serenity, beauty, and enjoyment of sunset golf on a quiet course in cottage country is something I very much recommend any folder experience . . . If you haven't yet done so.
We're going to share a few more golf stories and favourite courses in this space and on The Chris O Show as the season roles on. We'll also chat about some excellent tournaments coming up this year, like the second annual Untamed Celebrity Golf Tournament in support of CAMH.
Last year's event was fantastic ... Good people, good weather, and other people playing good golf (hahaha). Learn more at: https://untuckedgolf.com/
That's it for me! Ciao for Now!
