RESTAURANT ALERT

I thought I would get our first newsletter started with my favourite restaurant in the city, Myth.

Myth is my go-to spot. The truth is, I love a great atmosphere, top notch food and people who treat you great. You get all of those at Myth. The haute Greek options at Myth are unlike anything you can find in this city and in my opinion rival Mykonos, where I’ve been many times.

If you’re looking for a great night out with your girlfriends or a bunch of cool couples, there is simply no other place to go

TECH SPOTLIGHT

Would You Buy this $3,500 Apple Headset?

We were intrigued by the announcement of Apple’s new Vision Pro headsets, said to be released on February 2nd. This new tech will allegedly change the way we use our current Apple devices, by projecting everything right in front of us!

This device is said to blend our digital contents with the physical world, and you’ll even be able to add your eyeglass prescription to them. So what do you think, will the Vision Pro’s be added to your wishlist?

WORD OF THE WEEK

WHINGE
Looking to expand your British vocab? Well, look no further! Whinge is a verb used to whine or complain about something fretfully.

For example, you could say “Quit whinging and get to work!”

Let’s see if you can manage to use ‘whinge’ in a sentence this week. If you do, tag us and let us know how you used it!

WANT TO UPGRADE YOUR HEALTH?

Everyone understands the daunting task of trying to eat enough vegetables daily, but did you know that research has found a way to trick yourself into wanting to eat vegetables?!

Research has found a psychological phenomenon known as the ‘transfer effect’ which suggests that improving one aspect of your life will in turn make you want to improve another. Sounds simple enough right?

Therefore, if you were to simply exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, it would supposedly trick your brain into wanting to eat vegetables!

BOOK RECOMMENDATION

The seven rules to follow to realize your true purpose in life—distilled by Arnold Schwarzenegger from his journey of ceaseless reinvention and extraordinary achievement, and available for absolutely anyone.

The world’s greatest bodybuilder. The world’s highest-paid movie star. The leader of the world’s sixth-largest economy. That these are the same person sounds like the setup to a joke, but this is no joke. This is Arnold Schwarzenegger. And this did not happen by accident.
